Position Title: Intermediate Network/Desktop Support Technician Position Type: Full-time Contract leading to Permanent Education: College/University or equivalent experience The Position rtraction is currently looking for a talented and ambitious Intermediate Network/Desktop Support Technician who is interested in a job with exciting opportunities. A full-time contract position to start, this role has the potential to lead to a permanent, full-time position for the right candidate. As a member of our team, you will provide technical support for our internal server and hosting farms in addition to supporting our external network support clients. You must be a graduate from a college or university computer support program and have 2 to 3 years of professional experience with Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems. You must be familiar with Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, IIS, Apache, MySQL, PHP (installation and maintenance), firewalls and IDS systems. Experience with Cisco firewalls would be considered an asset. What you will do You will plan, deploy, support, and enhance the technical infrastructure for rtraction and our valued clients. You will also assist with training, keep excellent records, and write technical documentation. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent on-site supporting our London clients. What you will bring
