PolicyTool is an rtraction product developed in partnership with a leading internet and technology lawyer. It provides an easy, online way for individuals and organizations to generate customized policies for website and software projects. By answering a series of simple questions clients can instantly generate a framework policy. Currently PolicyTool generates Social Media Use policies, with additional modules in development.

Compost Preview Tool
Compost is our open-source design preview tool which we initially developed for in-house use. In recognition of the benefits that open-source software has brought to our business, we have released the source code to allow any individual or organization to create an online preview of their designs and receive feedback from their clients. Features include posting design comps to the web without any knowledge of html and dynamic client feedback tools which allow viewers to post notes directly on the designs.

Canadian Medical Hall of Fame
The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame, located in London, Ontraio is Canada's premiere showcase for medical professionals who have contributed significantly to healthcare innovation and patient care. Our redesign of the website created a bold new look which provides immediate call to action links on the homepage that allow the CMHF to easily update their content and highlight their events and programs.

GenNext
GenNext is a new initiative for United Way of London and Middlesex, which seeks to engage 20- and 30-somethings in becoming active community-builders. We worked with GenNext volunteers to develop a logo, branding and site design that would create a great first impression, With prominent event features, blogs and a twitter feed, everything about the site was designed to keep fresh content flowing and build an online community.

The most recent TechAlliance site design incorporated their wishes to provide a more immediate focus on key upcoming events and to better highlight their use of social media. As a networking and advocacy group for London’s high-tech sector, TechAlliance needs their site to provide a great deal of information to a variety of audiences. We also designed and developed this incarnation of the site to make event registration and the member directory easier to use.

Zilch Inc creates hardware and design elements for log and timber frame construction. They came to us with established branding and designs, but needed a site to showcase their new offerings. We produced a pair of 3D animated videos to make their concepts relatable and demonstrate exactly how their products work.

The Health Technology Exchange
The Health Technology Exchange (HTX) is an industry-targeted web portal that helps businesses in the medical and assistive technology sector connect with potential partners and funders. Completely redesigned and developed by rtraction, the new HTX.ca was built using Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. HTX wanted to adopt the community-driven content model of popular social media sites, so the new site lets users create a profile to personalize their news results, searches and updates based on their specific areas of interest. The site also gives industry leaders a forum to share insights and exchange ideas, and lets industry members from across the province post their own news, events, and funding opportunities.

WIL Employment Connections
WIL is a non-profit agency that provides a range of services both to employers and job seekers. rtraction provided WIL with a flexible CMS (content management system) that would allow multiple staff members to update and maintain their own areas of the site. The navigation and design make it easy for different categories of visitors to find and access the information relevant to them.

ESCLM
The Employment Sector Council of London and Middlesex acts as the voice of London's training and employment sector. The home page includes a rotating member company spotlight and a news feed, and guides visitors through a range of service offerings. With prominent signup buttons, the site has also been optimised to drive visitors to enrol with the program. Like many of our sites, ESCLM's is built on the Drupal CMS (content management system) for ease of use and flexibility.

The London-Middlesex Immigrant Employment Council was designed and developed to encourage businesses to work with immigrants, and to support both employees and employers. The design is clear, welcoming, and drives visitors to the key information quickly. LMIEC wanted a site with a distinct visual identity, but that also reflected the program's relationships to ESCLM and WIL.

Talbot Marketing needed a vibrant site with room for lots of features and dynamic content to sell custom promotional and advertising materials. The sidebar and catalogue pages allow a great deal of flexibility and customization for a business that is constantly updating its content. Talbot's site also features powerful catalogue tools that integrate a wide range of suppliers' products.

Canadian Technician
Canadian Technician is Canada's premier magazine serving automotive service providers. The web version of the print magazine features multiple page views and an advertiser index for each issue. Other highlights include reader-populated photo galleries, a blog and a new products showcase. The site allows subscribers to register for premium content, including forums, article archives, and an events calendar.

ReForest London
Reforest London is a community-based agency that engages the people and businesses in planting and caring for trees. In conjunction with the launch of their "Amazing Tree Quest" photo contest, rtraction completely redesigned the site and developed new features. With an aim to attracting repeat visitors and building an online community, the site was built on a web 2.0 / social media model. The Amazing Tree Quest features interactive photo galleries, online contest entries and voting. Built on the Drupal CMS, the site makes it easy for staff and volunteers to maintain an archive of "success stories" to allow users to look up records of ReForest’s work in the community sorted by date, location or project type.
