Teen Challenge Web design
Teen Challenge Canada supports individuals and families impacted by substance addiction through programs and recovery centres across the country. Their website needed to serve many different audiences while bringing together a large amount of content, resources and functionality.
They needed a website that was easy for visitors to navigate, but just as importantly, easy for their internal team to update and evolve over time.
The Approach
We created a flexible, content-rich website built around reusable components that give the Teen Challenge team more control over how they build and update pages.
The site was the first rTraction project to launch using our new paragraph slices, alongside new video hero and presentation-style components. We also brought together key functionality including a national locations map, events calendar, blog, job board and integrated forms.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the Teen Challenge team to rethink and reorganize existing content while finding ways to bring their brand and personality into the digital experience.
The Outcome
The result is a flexible digital home that makes it easier for people to find support, explore resources, discover events and connect with Teen Challenge Canada.
Behind the scenes, the new component system gives their team an easier way to manage content and keep the site current as the organization grows. The collaborative process also gave Teen Challenge an opportunity to overhaul their existing content and launch a website their team was excited to share with their community.
