The Cabins at Nelson’s Bay are located on the southwest point of Deer Lake in a calm, secluded bay setting. Positioned on the west side of the bay, the property offers direct access to waterfront views and a natural environment suited for year-round use. The Cabins are designed to accommodate group gatherings and aim to serve as a venue for a range of activities, including leisure, recreation, and team or social bonding experiences in a nature-focused setting.
The Cabins at Nelson’s Bay approached us to strengthen their brand and better communicate the value of their offering. As a relatively new cabin rental business, they had limited visibility and inconsistent messaging, which made it difficult to attract and convert their ideal audience.
The Challenge
A 1.5-year-old cabin rental business faced low visibility and inconsistent messaging. While the property offered a multi-building venue in a beautiful natural setting, the brand lacked clarity. The muted logo, unclear color palette, and limited recognition made it difficult to attract the right audience and convert interest into bookings.
The Solution
We built a brand centered on the experience: connection, relaxation, and shared moments in nature. We defined the brand’s direction, refined colors and abstract logo for a vibrant, memorable identity, and opened discussions around a name that could grow with the business.
Every element was designed to target the ideal audience, improve communication, and drive results. The refreshed brand positions the business to increase awareness, attract the right guests, and boost bookings and repeat stays.
In addition to the refreshed brand identity, we also designed their website on Squarespace and supporting collateral to bring the system to life across touchpoints. This included business cards, posters, and a brochure, all created to ensure consistency, strengthen recognition, and improve how the brand communicates with potential guests.
