Rise wanted to implement a new decision tree into a brand new website using a content management system (CMS) that they were more in control of. We helped them switch their CMS to a system that worked better for them, and supported their old website during this period of change.
The Big Goal
A brand new website that they could be more in control of. We suggested a Drupal website to help streamline their process, and so they could introduce new visual content for the user experience.
Web Design Elements
The swoosh was developed as a unique design element for Rise.
For the illustrations, our designers recoloured stock illustrations into the Rise brand colours to keep a more consistent brand look across the website.
Animated stat blocks that you can slide using your mouse were developed to help display important stats between content areas. These sliders help showcase stats that describe the important impact of the work they do. Take a look at these sliders on this page here.
We added tools to their rich text editor so that they could write their website content in layouts that made sense for them strategically. These tools also made it easier to add design elements.
Accessibility
Being a community service that works with many individuals, Rise needs to be accessible to the people they help digitally. We made sure they had an accessible website design from the start. By installing AccessiBe, Rise was able to add additional core accessible features to the website, helping achieve mandatory AODA compliance.
Change Happens
We worked with Rise during periods of great change for their organization. We wanted to provide stability for them and trust in us to support them during these transitions, so that the new website could launch. The result? A beautiful new website that is easy to use, customizable, and more reflective of their new direction.
